The Mazda 2 Versus the Wall of Death

The world’s first “Wall of Death” was built 85 years ago in the Untied States.  Recently it’s been restored by a family of motorcycle stunt riders.  They’re rebranded it as the “Motordrome” and instead of riding motorcycles in it this time they try a Mazda hatchback.

In this video they take a modified Mazda 2 and use it to whip around the 16 foot high wall every 2.5 seconds.

Mazda tops Consumer Reports’ annual Automaker Report Card

Mazda was one of the top scorers in Consumer Reports’ annual Automaker Report Card and was one of the five Japanese automakers that claimed the five top spots.

Mazda has shown the most dramatic improvement among the 13 manufacturers in Consumer Reports’ Report Card.  It climbed to second place from seventh last year and increased its overall score by nine points for a total of 74 out of 100.
