The 2012 Mazda 3’s Skyactiv engine doesn’t compromise its performance and allows the car to go 20% further on single tank of gas and gets up to 40 mpg on the highway. It handles superbly with an overall athletic feel and its “steering is surely the best among small, affordable cars.” Inside, the cockpit is sophisticated and plush and there are a lot of technology features available that really set the 3 apart from the competition.
