The 2012 Mazda Speed 3 is a nifty compact hatchback. The biggest change to the 2012 model is the addition of the SkyActiv engine with its superb 40 mpg potential. It’s a “rip-roaring menace” that handles like a dream with exceptionally precise steering and tight responses. The 3 has a good fit and finish, a long list of available features and more importantly is fun to drive.
