I have been in the automotive industry for the last 15 years and I can honestly say there is no other industry I would prefer to work in! I have been with the Dilawri Automotive Group for the last 8 years and this is my second opportunity to work with the amazing people of Crown Mazda and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
I’ve been married for 10 years, and have 2 great kids, Gavin who is 3 years old and Zachary who is 17. I enjoy spending any and all free time with my family. When I’m not working you can find me playing street hockey, taking walks and playing soccer with Gavin. When we get the chance we love going to Lac Du Bonnet where our family has had a cottage for the last 30 years.

Brendon has been with the Dilawri group since February 2010. He always had a passion for anything with wheels and an engine. Since he received his driver’s license when he was 16, he was always “the driver” among friends and family. If you wanted to go anywhere he would be happy to take you there. He had many experiences from off-road vehicles, motorcycles, dirt bikes, sea-doos and snowmobiles. When he was looking to get into the automobile industry it was very important that he found a place that shares that same passion. Brendon found that in Mazda. A company that “puts the emotion in motion” and believes “if it’s not worth driving, it’s not worth building”. Ron has lived in Winnipeg for 12 years with his wife and 3 kids. He has been in the car business for 10 of those years. He has made lots of friends and finds the way of life in the Peg great, especially now that we have an NHL team back! He loves bike riding with his wife and kids. They also love to go horse riding in Riding Mountain National Park. In the summer they swim every Sunday morning followed by a mid morning barbeque.

“COACH WES” My time here at Crown Mazda has truly been a rewarding experience both personally and professionally for me. Having customers become friends after investing in a quality Mazda product gives me joy knowing that they have made the right choice in their vehicle selection. Before making your appointment, you should know a little bit about me. I am the proud dad of Adam, who is with the RCMP; Parker a U of M student and Spencer who goes to Vincent Massey High. Wanting to be a home builder I entered the Carpentry apprenticeship program at Red River after completing High School. To learn about running a business I entered University and graduated in 1974 majoring in Administrative Studies.
Upon graduating I joined the Royal Bank and worked mostly in District Systems and in the Real Estate Resource Divisions were I was introduced to the office furniture world. After six years at the Royal I joined Business Furnishings who was a major player in this field dealing with many large national companies. From here I went on to start my own Office Furniture company called Officeways which I ran successfully for many years. After several years of retirement I had the opportunity to join Crown Mazda in May of 2006. I also joined the Mazda Master Sales Club in 2007 and am on target to do the same this year. I also have coached hockey for 31 years and wish I could golf and fish more than I do. To put it simply, I just try to treat all my customers with respect, fairness, honesty; the way that I would want to be treated. If you want a little Zoom Zoom in your life, call “Coach Wes”.

Hi, my name is Aron Heide. Cars have always been my passion. I have worked for Crown Mazda and the Dilawri Automotive Group for nearly 3 years. My life in the Automotive Industry started when I was in High School. I was enrolled in and graduated from the Automotive Program at my High School in Winkler. As soon as I graduated from High School I began to work as a technician in an automotive dealership while studying at Red River College where I became an Interprovincial Licensed Technician. I have worked hard as a technician for many years and I have continued to work even harder as a Service Manager.
My wife Barb and I have been happily married for nearly 30 years, together we have 3 daughters, Stacey, Christine, and Michelle. Somehow all five of us still manage to live happily under the same roof. Barb and the girls have been heavily involved in Girl Guides of Canada. While the girls have found other things to get involved in, Barb still manages to find time to stay in Girl Guides as well as volunteer with various charities. Before we had kids, my wife and I purchased a cottage. We continue to build and make improvements on the cottage so we can keep enjoying it for many years to come. In the earlier days, the girls would spend the entire summer up at the lake while I came to visit on weekends and holidays. I have always had a passion for Classic Cars and Trucks. I currently own two Classic Convertibles and one Truck. In my spare time I enjoy restoring these cars back to their original beauty.
Working in the Automotive Industry has helped me to grow in many ways. I am constantly meeting new people, making friends, and keeping up with the ever changing technology. I strive to be the best person that I can be. The Dilawri Group has encouraged me to keep growing, and to never be satisfied with average.

Jeff has always had a passion for cars and liked working with people. Combine that with his on going education at the University of Manitoba working towards a degree in sales and marketing, taking a job at Crown Mazda was a perfect fit. In his spare time Jeff enjoys camping, fishing, golfing, playing hockey and relaxing with his friends and family. He loves to spend time with his girlfriend Joanne whom he’s been dating for over 4 years and his true weakness in life are his two puppies Rascal and Bandit.

I am 36 years old, I’ve been married for 10 years to my lovely wife Christina and have two children named Brandon and Kobie. Brandon has been a hardball player since he was 8 years old and he enjoys PS3 and X-Box 360. Kobie has played soccer since he was 4 years old and enjoys basketball, hockey, baseball, skateboarding and remote controlled cars.
I have been with Mazda since 1995 when I was hired as a lot attendant. I was later hired as a technician in 1998. I cam to Crown Mazda when they opened in 2001.
I received my Auto Technician License in 2002 and my Mazda Master Tech status in 2004. I have received Mazda’s “Fix it Right the First Time” award 6 times in my career.
My personal likes are movies, sponge hockey, ice hockey and softball.

Good day, I am pleased to have been taking care of your Mazdas since May of 2008. I moved to Winnipeg from Altona in 2006 after marrying my wonderful wife Nikki and we have since been blessed with a beautiful daughter in November of 2010 that we named Leilani after our love of Hawaii, most notably Maui.
Any time I find outside of work and family I enjoy running and riding motocross and further developing my knowledge of the Mazda products and technology and improving my diagnostic skills. I have really enjoyed my time with the Crown Mazda family and am looking forward to the future products from Mazda.

My name is Dennis Flack, the parts manager at Crown Mazda. I first started with the Dilawri Group on October 28th, 2002, as a parts advisor for both Crown Acura and Sunshine Toyota. I really enjoy interacting with people and it’s a great feeling to be able to help. I understand peoples’ needs and I treat people with respect, the way I would want to be treated. This has gotten me to where I am today. I really enjoy working at Crown Mazda. It’s like a small family, we all get along and everyone knows everyone very well. We have a lot of fun at work and that makes for a good environment to be in. We are a great dealership and it is great to be a part of that.

Michael has been with the Dilawri group since March 2009. He has been detailing cars for over 28 years & extremely happy with his responsibilities at Crown Mazda. In his spare time, he can be found working on the occasional restoration project as well as fishing and golfing. He is originally from Trinidad & moved to Canada when he was 7 years old. So when you’re driving away with your new or used vehicle, he would like you to know that it was his pleasure getting those vehicles ready and up to your standards.
