Mazda5 Named as the Most Fuel-Efficient Minivan of 2012

The Honourable Joe Oliver, Minister of Natural resources recently announced the Government of Canada’s 2012 ecoEnergy for Vehicles Awards recognizing the most fuel-efficient new vehicles available in Canada in 10 different classes.

You can view fuel consumption ratings for all 2012 model year vehicles on natural Resources Canada’s website at vehicles.nrcan.gc.ca.

Announcing the Winner of the Free Remote Start

During the months of November and December Crown Mazda encouraged its customers to donate non-perishable food items to Winnipeg Harvest as part of the Dilawri Feeds Winnipeg campaign.

A bin was set up in the dealership to collect food and other items and for each donation customers received a ballot for a chance to win a free 1-way remote start.

Beginning December 31, 2011, Manitoba car dealers must provide consumers with information about a vehicle’s history.  This includes information such as: prior damage by fire or flood, former use as a taxi, police car or rental car or whether it was written off or had significant repairs done.

This information has to be clearly written in the sales contract and you should be told about it before you sign.

The Dilawri Group’s Back to School Charity Drive

This year the Dilawri Group and its employees raised money for schools in Winnipeg. Employees were asked to donate a small amount from their payroll deposits in which Ashok Dilawri matched dollar for dollar.

The end result: $6,253

Two Schools that benefited from the donation were George V and Salisbury Morse. Each school plans on using the funds differently. George V hopes to purchase smart boards and iPads for their Early Years Project. Whereas Salisbury Morse is hoping to help more students ...

There was far too much holiday cheer to fit in only one sleigh, so Santa had to bring an entire convoy with him.

After a month of collecting food for Winnipeg Harvest the Dilawri Group delivered over 1,200 pounds of non-perishable food items.
